Are You Learning Guitar on Your Own?

Are you picking it up again?

Do you already play an instrument and

want to add guitar to your sound?

Playing guitar is loads of fun. Playing songs, learning licks and riffs and even playing exercises and scales are a great way to become a seasoned player.

But it can also be frustrating.

Watching YouTube videos can only give you so much skill and other products are helpful to a point, but there comes a time when you need an instructor who can work with you in your own learning style.

I’m Bryan Wade and I have over twenty tears of experience. I’ve helped hundreds of musicians enhance their skills. Every person learns and plays in their own unique way, so I specialize in customizing instruction to best benefit each player. Whatever level, age, or style I always enjoy helping people play the way they want to.

So if you want to dig into the guitar click the “Yes” link below and we can schedule a FREE session to see if I’m the right fit for you. It’s a win-win situation. You get to show me where you’d like to go and I get to help you get there!

Are You an Adult Looking for Guitar Lessons?  This may be for you…

Marlene, adult student says:

“Bryan is one of the most patient and understanding teachers I know but he also knows when to push you to help you get to the next level. He is very skilled at the guitar and at music writing and he also knows when its time to put the theory away and have fun.”

“Bryan doesn’t teach the guitar as just an instrument, he teaches it to you like it’s an extension of what you think, what you are feeling. Even if I wasn’t able to practice for a day or as long as i wanted to, I know from having learned with Bryan that there is always a connection to it.”

“Bryan is super patient, laid back and goes at whatever pace works. Unlike other music teachers he sort of SNEAKS in the technical stuff with the fun stuff so my son (and me too) don’t have to wait through hours and hours of practice before we’re having fun.”

“‘He doesn’t give TOO much hard work. It’s good.’ says my son Henry.”

I love to help people find and develop their own musical voice. I enjoy teaching because it is an opportunity to work with people and help them find what they are looking for in music. Teaching is about relationships and what I have learned from my great teachers is to constantly listen for interests and motivates a student. I strive to give my students an experience of their own inspiration, growth and achievement.

I’ve been teaching music professionally since 1998, offering private lessons and teaching classes at the After School program at School of the Future in Manhattan. I draw on my early education as a saxophonist, several years as a self-taught guitarist, five years of formal study with master guitarist and teacher, Robert Newton, my 20 years of  experience on stage as a leader and sideman, and my relationship with great musicians and teachers such as Madeline Bruser, J. GA. Granelli and Nels Cline.

I wish you well and may all sounds be good sounds…
Bryan
